This memory generated image depicts the roots of a tree pushing up through the tarmac of the pavement. The idea of a pure and organic form pushing its way through mans mark on the land is an interesting starting point for thoughts on surrealism. Organic Surrealism is said to be a method of "pure psychic automatism" and can be expressed verbally, in writing, or by any other method.
